  • Our Osaka branch has opened.

    The Up Well Osaka branch has opened in Sakai-shi of Osaka.

    The patent for 'Product Composition for Hair Loss Control and/or Promotion of Hair (Re) growth' was established on the 27th of March 2012 (application number: 2006-14408). We are currently moving towards productization.




  • The patent for mouth wash containing apolactoferrin was established.

    The patent for mouth wash containing apolactoferrin was established on the 27th of March 2012 (application number 2006-245158).




  • The patent for 'The composition for ophthalmology and of contact lenses" using apolactoferrin has been established.

    The patent for 'The composition for ophthalmology and of contact lenses' was established on the 27th of March 2012 (application number 2005-333398).




  • The patent for the Shochu component that suppresses blood glucose levels has been established.

    The patent for the shochu component that has the ability to suppress blood glucose levels was established on the 14th of February 2012 (Invention name: Glucosidase inhibitor).




  • 'Shochu no Megumi' drink now on sale!

    A new drink that was made using the same formula as the now highly popular beauty and health product 'Shochu no Megumi' is now on sale. Because of the new patent, we were able to create a drink with more transparency, a weaker smell and milder taste. It is also non-alcoholic and therefore available to children. 1 drink costs 350 yen.

  • A giveaway of the book 'Apolactoferrin' by the company's director Hiroyoshi Inoue (professor in Keio University School of Medicine)

  • Up Well's online shop 'Up Well Store' is now open


    After many inquiries we have finally started selling Up Well Extra (apolactoferrin) in small packs. We have also started selling apolactoferrin lozenges as we want more people to experience apolactoferrin at a lower price. Furthermore, a product using almonds, which is known to be a natural supplement, called "Ai to Yabou no Almond' has also been added to the line-up.

  • Hiroyoshi Inoue, our company director and also a professor in Keio University School of Medicine, appeared on the NTV (Nihon TV) show 'Sekai de Ichiban Uketai Jyugyou' (The most Useful School in the World).

    Hiroyoshi Inoue, the company director and also a professor in Keio University, explained the functionality of nuts on the NTV show Sekai de Ichiban Uketai Jyugyou. (aired on the 16th of October 2010).




  • Professor Hiroyoshi, the company director and also a professor in Keio University School of Medicine, won the 2010 Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan's 'Scientific Technology Chancellor Award'.




  • Our company appeared on the 'Fukuoka Bioventure Company 2009'

    Our company has been introduced as a Fukuoka BioValley Project related company. Furthermore, the company's apolactoferrin and Blood AGE Level Measurement Kit have been introduced in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technologys' City Area Program project results.
